Welcome
to Rhythmic Connection. To find out more please pick a section below. What is Rhythmic Connection? All over the earth people have used drumming and ceremonial gatherings to raise their spirits, release stress, energise their bodies, increase their sense of clarity and focus, and develop co-operation and community. Drumming affects us physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually and can be profoundly uplifting. Rhythm is a universal language at work in the very core of the world. It is a language that can unite the diverse elements of humanity. Rhythmic Connection is a unique experience, which uses group drumming to release human potential through a rhythm-based event commonly called a drum circle. Rhythmic Connection is a hands-on experience.
What is a drum circle? A Drum Circle is an easily accessible avenue for self-expression. It is a place where people with a whole range of musical experience can get together and share the joy of playing percussive music together. A Drum Circle brings people together to explore and share the power of rhythm. What happens at a drum circle? A facilitator enables participants to express themselves through playing hand drums and percussion instruments. Drum Circle experiences are structured to allow team members to have a voice, experience co-operative accomplishments and have fun. It is a percussion orchestra with no written music to follow. Music is created on the spur of the moment.
What are the benefits? Drum Circles offer a unique experiential approach to team building. They allow us to recognise and celebrate our similarities rather than our differences. Your company or organisation could benefit from Rhythmic Connection in the following ways: • Having fun whilst drumming together. • Experiencing a sense of unity, connecting people.
